Some of my best workouts when I was studying martial arts came after dragging myself to the dojo. Sometimes the hardest step is the first one.

That's a pretty sweet bike! I've never seen a 'full'-size Dahon before, and with drop-bars to boot!

I would plan on a ride to work and back on a Sat with good weather, then prepare your kit and commit to yourself: I will ride to work on the soonest day that the weather is at least X degrees and dry.

One of the best things you can do for depression is physical exercise. Seriously. Quit hanging around here lamenting about it and just go do it already. Like tomorrow!

Thanks! Frame is the only thing left original on the bike. Fenders, handlebars, etc -- it was a Dahon Espresso MTB to start.

When I was riding, I was very serious! I even picked the kids up from daycare and rode 7 miles over hills to get home. Was in great shape. That was 7 years ago... haven't commuted much since 2013/14...
