Conversation with My Bike...

Me: We're taking the "short" route today, but I'm going to avoid the dirt path with the thorns.

Bike: Great, thanks.

Me: There's some debris on the shoulder just past the bridge, but I will circumvent it.

Bike: Great, thanks.

Me: There's some goose poop by the restaurant, but I won't make you roll through it.

Bike: Pfweeeeessssssssss! I have a flat.

Me: Grrrrrr!

I find that singing to my bike results in fewer flats.

:thumb: I do find that every so often while riding I feel a wave a joy sweep over me and have broken in to song.

"Midnight Rider" is great for moonlight solo rides in the country around here. Ooooh, look at me, I'm a rebel without a clue! "Against the Wind" and "Night Moves" are also in the repertoire.
