Cycling along East Kent Street between Cambie and Boundary in Vancouver, BC?

Hello everyone,

Are there any commuters here who regularly ride along East Kent Street between Cambie in Vancouver and Boundary in Burnaby? The road looks kind of sketchy for riding on under the best of conditions, and I think it might be down right dangerous in the winter time, especially since I would be riding before the sun comes up. Does anyone have any experience?
