Serene Dawn Commute...

It was a very serene commute in this morning, including the sun rising over Prospect Lake. I wanted to share the sights and natural sounds of my ride with longer edits to give you a better sense of how peaceful it was (with a couple of exceptions). At 11 minutes it is about a quarter of the actual ride length.

Nice!

Mine would be serene if I didn't push the pace all the time. I just can't help it, and I'm even worse in the afternoon...probably due to the traffic.

I assume your camera is mounted on your helmet. The angle looks good. Are you a drop bar? I ask because my own is mounted on my helmet but I get more ground than sky.

Yes, helmet mount. It took some trial and error to set it up. It's a Contour Roam.

I think some of the newer cameras have live preview via Bluetooth, which would help dial the mounting much more quickly.

like to have a camera just record the jerks that drive too aggressively.

I'd love to share videos of my commute. I think you'd like it. Or it might frighten you. But I'm not ready for the trouble and expense of a camera. Maybe one day.
