Now that it is getting cool, the Ortlieb is going on the shelf for the winter. And I might replace it. The belt buckle cracked, the sternum strap cracked, the bag has some holes in it, and I am generally ready to retire it to weekend hiking duty.
I am looking at replacements and I want to increase the volume a little bit from the 20L. I know that Ortlieb has a larger size backpack, so I lean towards those because I gotta say, the back padding is the BIGGEST selling feature for me. I LOVE that it does not absorb sweat. I mean, I wear the thing every day in the summer and regular backpacks and messenger bags just soak up the sweat.
What's your experience?
