Camelbak used to have a few. They're constantly changing up their product line so things may have changed.

Not that I know of but I really like my Osprey Radial. Osprey and Deuter are the only ones I am aware of that have a frame with an air-gap for cooling your back.

Standard feature for back country ski packs

Can't say I've ever had one that couldn't. Almost all packs have places for attaching straps and helmets have chin straps that snap together. Combine the two and you're set.

This one has a foldout net made for holding a helmet on the back of the pack. I got one from a few years ago that works pretty well.

In addition to above mentioned Ospreys, Deuters there's also Vaude (Alpin and Splash).

I tried a lot of them this spring: Radial 26 and 34, Momentum 26 and 30, Escapist 25 and 32, Deuter Trans Alpine, and Vaude Bike Alpin 30+5.

My conclusion was, Vaude is a better cycling pack while Osprey makes just better general packs. Note the load range - Opsreys can hold almost twice as much as Vaude. But Vaude's suspension system looked superior.

In the end, I gave up and am still using my Osprey Comet (because I like it more as a bag) but carry it in a basket on my trunk. No more sweaty back. Ah yes, I can carry helmet externally on my Comet, big plus.

Fox MTB backpacks. Mine has an adjustable external partial cover for a helmet, newer models rely on a laching system I'm thinking.

Any backpack with a grab handle on top. 1) Put chinstrap through grab handle. 2) Put chinstrap around shoulder straps. 3) Click.

On my back packs this has always been a stable, wearable method.https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...f4f7c3218b.jpg

Also, for a quick, but loose connection, keep a D-clip on an external mounting point on your backpack.

I really like that idea. I used to just clip my helmet just through the grab handle but it swung around too much and would consistently hit the walls or other office coworkers.

This way seems a lot more stable.

I'm on my 4th year of using a Chrome Industries Barrage Cargo backpack. It's awesome and unbelievably tough. On top of being extremely weatherpoof, the outside net holds a helmet quite nicely. Best of all, the net can also hold all manner of crazy stuff. I've transported bicycle wheels and tons of crazy shaped things in that net.

I use a couple models of Deuter packs and they have an external helmet holder. https://www.deuter.com/US/us/bike.html
