Massload Pannier Racks
 

I saw a thread on this site reviewing the Massload rear pannier rack. What caught my attention is the long top platform, something that I seek to run on the "3 season Mule" now in regular use. This Massload rack is no longer available. Anyone have any experience with wide platform racks? The target hard tail bike uses 26" wheels. I'd like to see a rack whose platform is larger than normal yet positions the rack closer to the fender area to lower the centre of gravity. No small order let me tell you!
