Where to find used bike parts in Taiwan (Yuanlin-Taichung area)

Hello!

This is my first post after many months of admiring all the knowledge and passionate discussions about one of my favorite things in the world. I recently moved to Yuanlin, Taiwan and brought my 1989 Centurion Dave Scott Ironman with me to compete in the Challenge Taiwan triathlon. Being that the race isnt for about 8 months, I find myself bored and missing the space and resources im familiar with building bikes as a hobby back in the U.S.

It may be a long shot but maybe someone has been to or lived in the Yuanlin-Taichung area and knows more about the scene than I do. Its been awesome seeing the appreciation that the country has for cycling, even dedicating a whole month to it topping it off with the sickest climb even, the Taiwan King of The Mountain! Its been fun seeing what the big time Giant and Merida shops around here have to offer but my question is, does anyone know of some local bike shops where I can just go in and buy a frame and just have fun building it up with some cheap parts? You know, just as a hobby not really to build a race bike like in the big shops that cost and arm and a leg.

Even if you don't have any info, drop a picture of your ride and maybe ill see you around town! Thanks guys.

This reply is of no objective help , but I have traveled to Taipei a number of times and am baffled by the lack of bike shops given the cycling manufacturing industry in the country.
