A bike can be a good getaway vehicle.

A little dιjΰ vu

George Bush the elder's cardiologist shot in a bike on bike drive by shooting

Of course, there are a few differences between this an the Houston shooting. Here, the shooter was apparently young, while the Houston shooter was middle aged, and a highly trained shooter.

the shooter was described as being in his late 20s, of medium build, dressed in black with a hi-vis orange jacket.
Sounds like someone on these forums

Odd,

This is the second time the shooting victim was shot.
https://news.sky.com/story/two-men-r...es-on-11521888

He also has spent 5 years in prison for robbery and illegal arms possession.

The police have apparently conducted a couple of search warrants and questioned a couple of suspects, but released them, I think.

I cleaned up the thread to remove off topic content and accusations, even if intended as a joke.

Not a lot of recent news, but they've released the first photo of the shooting suspect.

It looks like efforts to obscure thebackground. Nonetheless, it would be difficult to identify a person from the grainy photo.

Why did the killer wear a hi-viz jacket for the task? It made it easy to be noticed and caught.

They were all wearing lime green. He stands out as the only one wearing Orange.

It may be that wearing "high vis" would actually blend in just fine as a bike commuter. However, that jacket looks very specific. It almost looks more like a ski jacket than a bike jacket.

It should be easy to scan footage of any neighboring cams for that jacket. Perhaps even look at past footage if he is local.

One never knows what kinds of artifacts show up on these possibly enhanced photos.

Are those elbow pads?

That headtube angle looks way off whack.

That means that if the image has been stretched, then the kind of dumpy look may not be real. Especially if the person is wearing thick clothing.

It's a Hi-vis construction jacket.
