If you have any faith in the accuracy of NOAA climate predictions, the northern latitudes of the U.S. are "predicted" to experience above normal precipitation coupled with below normal temps between January and March.

We're halfway out of the dark.

Well, except for the near constant overcast, riding to work before sunrise and riding home with the setting sun in my mirror (learned to tilt it down, until the top is level with the horizon), and very humid cold (my, what big teeth you have!), when it's not raining. I never realized just how solar-powered I am until I moved to a place with little sun. I have a difficult time resisting the urge to hibernate (i.e. ride the bus) until spring. Bah! Humbug! And other grumpy epithets. 😞

Merry forking Christmas.

ETA: Ignore my grumpiness, I'm light deprived. Happy Christmas/Solstice/Hanukah/Kwanza/Yule/Wednesday/etc. 🕯️
