Softshell Helmet Cover

I have a Gore helmet cover that I found in a ditch about eight years ago. It's great for when it is cold and raining. However, I would really like a non waterproof yet windproof helmet cover for most winter riding. Does anyone know of one?

Not familiar with that product, personally.

not familiar with what your looking for but sounds interesting
what features & benefits are you looking to gain?
is the waterproof unit too big or ugly? I know mine are
have you considered plugging your vent holes w/ bits of foam?

last winter I got a legit helmet cover that's quite good for real rain & blizzard style snow coming right at your eyes

What I have is waterproof enough. What I am looking for is a windproof, but not waterproof cover. I want to maximize breathability while keeping the wind out. I've ordered something (see link below) that doesn't appear to be waterproof. I'll let you know if it is more comfortable than my Gore helmet cover.

Find an old jersey, tech tee, or wool sweater, and fire up the sewing machine.

Windproof but not waterproof = softshell, or a tightly-knit fabric.

Why not wear a windproof layer on your head, inside the helmet?

The added reflectivity of that helmet cover seems like a good thing, but I'm also curious why a softshell skull cap that covers the ears wouldn't be most effective for the task. Softshell bike cap
