Personally, I think DD's are handy to have around. I mean, where else are you going to find an open restroom at 3AM? :)

The point is respect. This ad models the idea that it's okay to treat bicyclists as fall guys to be abused. You may not notice the effect directly, but it reinforces the idea that its okay to harrass, taunt, or endanger bycyclists. That is bad. That should be discouraged. |
LOL-Paging "I Like To Bike"-we need you, buddy.

I have better things to complain about.
Anyhow, the best protest is to not frequent said establishment. Not that I can since I do not think we have any here. We are infested with krusty kremes. Yuck All sugar donuts. Anyways.....I prefer danishes. No donuts for me. |
Tim Hortons for me !
And I have heard they are slowly opening franchises in the states. THe end is in site, soon you'll all be drinking Tim's coffee, eating Tim's donuts, and mounting hockey sticks on your bikes. |
I can handle the hockey sticks. However, no curling, coffee, or donuts for me.
|
I'm speechless.

Originally I thought that this thread was titled "Dunkin Donuts attracts bike commuters."
|
The Dunkin Donuts in my neighborhood has a drive through and the line is around the building and out of the shopping plaza each morning with people who cant park and walk in. Even though parking and walking in would be quicker. I rode my bike up there last week to buy my class munchkins and I was in and out with a box of munchkins before 2 cars could go.
|
wow, this thread is from last summer??
But anyway, commercials normally annoy me so I don't pay them much attention. However, I've also noticed that too many people (not just here in the US but almost everywhere) derive their 'moral system' and their 'principles' if you will from TV, so I can see how someone might fails to see the humor in that particular one. |
