LBS Junk Pile

My LBS offered me two, almost new, Trek 700+28C tires ( All Condition Armadillo) for free! They were off a customer's bike and have little miles on them. Do all shops have "junk piles" that customer's can dig through and find something they like?

I dunno about all but my favorite LBS often customizes new bikes and has the resulting pile of cast-offs. I've bought things out of it and I've been given things out of it.

score! :thumb: don't know about LBS junk piles to pick thru, but I have fond memories of All Condition Armadillo's for commuting. I was hooked on them & put them all the bikes I was commuting with for a while
