The bike is black with white-tipped mudguards and a black non-leather saddle whose front third is also white, which might be clues for those who know English bikes of that era better than I do. Edit: those great-looking rear panniers in Rumrunn's color photo above remind me of a set of panniers at the local bike shop that I coveted as a kid: palomino-dyed rabbit fur, with crossed six-guns embossed on the pannier buckles. |
