current cycling clothes
hi,
I was out cycling / commuting for awhile but am getting back into it and have been looking into getting some newer cycling clothes.
I am used to the beige chamois in the cycle shorts / tights. I tried the 3d padded clothes but I really don't like them (actually got saddle sores from it)
does anyone know where you can get just that thin chamois style of cycle wear?

Some on-line sources list pad thickness. IME, though, it's hard to bead walking into a bike store and feeling the pad's thickness at the edge with my fingers. If you find a good pair, buy at least one. Take it home and ride it. If it works, go buy half a dozen more because they're going to be changed for next year. (After you buy one at the store where you were pawing all the shorts, I'll allow mail order for the rest.)
