Woodlands: Research Forest

o_o; This is a bit of a localised question.

Today was my first day commuting to work at the new place. I live off of Grogans Mill and South Millbend Drive. I took Grogans Mill to Research Forest and cut a left. As soon as I got on Research this horrible, nasty smell came. Kinda like cardboard soaked in swamp water, then burned!

Anyone have any idea? I'll never take that route again.

Also, for anyone around the area, is there an easier way to get to 242 that's not Gosling?
