I use this light. Cheap, good surface area, uses AA batteries. I prefer AA because it's the most common battery used. The light attaches to the belt/seatpost mount with a screw. I took the mount off and put the light on a reflector bracket and attached it to the rack. I was concerned about the light coming loose but so far so good.

After reading this thread I went to the lights section of Performancebike and saw this really interesting taillight.

Big picture

Performance® ViewPoint™ Flashpoint Taillight. It has nine (!) red LED's, focusing lenses, a built-in reflector and steady and two flashing modes. Unforunately it requires AAA batteries instead of AA, but it looks interesting regardless. Anyone familiar with this light?
