What kind of lube?

I use my Raleigh M20 bike mostly to commute (asphalt). For lubing the chain, here (Buenos Aires) I can get the following kind of lubes. Which one would you recommend to me?

a) Motorex Wet Lube.
b) Motorex Dry Lube.
c) Castrol Chain Wax (for motorcycles). If it works well on Motorbikes, I expect it does the same on a bike.

For me, it isn't clear when to use wet or dry lube. Does it refer to weather conditions or to the surface you move on?

The Great(est) Debate? I'm curious, too, to see what other posters say. It's a *hotly* discussed topic.

KY Jelly is the best lube for some dry surface conditions.

This will probably get moved to Politics and Religion as the best lube is a religious question...

I like a wax-based lube for dry conditions. It tends to not pick up as much dirt. However, wax washes off quite easily in the rain. I use something goopy for wet conditions -- Phil's Tenacious or BoeShield.

You can't really mix these on the same bike, so I have a rain bike and a dry weather bike.

Use the dry lube in dry conditions and the wet lube in wet conditions.

I also have trouble finding a good lube for the wet conditions here so I have started to make my own. Mix one part motor oil to two parts white spirts. Let it soak in like any other lube and wipe down. So far for me it seems to be okay, but it's only been a week or so.

I've ridden motorcycles for years and have tried tons of chain lubes. I will definitely be using honda chain lube, just got this pic from a quick net search:

This stuff is awsome, doesen't dry tacky like some chain lubes. It dries to almost a powdery finish..The benefit of this is that it doesen't attract dirt.

If they sell Honda motorcycles in Buenos Aires, you should be able to find this stuff.
