Try posting your round-trip distance in miles times your age.

Mine is 1800 (50 yrs times 36 miles). Anyone higher?

GEEK

Turned 19 in May. Today was the first day of classes (I'm a sophomore in college) and the car commuters I talked to were envious of how I get to avoid the $2.50+/gallon price of gas and NJ insurance. This might be the year that I can talk a few people into bike commuting (quite a few just live in off campus housing around town).

My Birthday is today! I am 31 and helped to make 31-35 the largest age group!

Woo Hoo!

Keep Cycling!

Happy Birthday! :bday:

I turned 50 ten days ago. Am I the oldest female commuter?

28, commuting since age 18. It made sense to start getting around town, campus and to my various jobs on a bike when I started college, and it has continued to be convenient, sensible, and fun, therefore I never quit.

I started doing big-city traffic-negotiating commuting 5 years ago, after I graduated, moved to Kansas City, and got a job downtown. I like it better than smalltown commuting. I can go faster, and I have to deal with a lot fewer dogs and drunk college kids.

Yay! I'm in the majority for once (although it may be short-lived). I'm 34. :)

OK I'll try:

Umm let's see, 50km*5/8*45 = 1406.

D'oh! That didn't work. I'll try again later. As in 10 years later :D

Great!... IŽll be quoting you on this one.

51 and commuting to work so many years I can't remember the time I started. The best part I enjoy commuting over just going out for a ride.

Looks like I'm the old man at 65.
