Woo Hoo! Keep Cycling! I turned 50 ten days ago. Am I the oldest female commuter? |
28, commuting since age 18. It made sense to start getting around town, campus and to my various jobs on a bike when I started college, and it has continued to be convenient, sensible, and fun, therefore I never quit.
I started doing big-city traffic-negotiating commuting 5 years ago, after I graduated, moved to Kansas City, and got a job downtown. I like it better than smalltown commuting. I can go faster, and I have to deal with a lot fewer dogs and drunk college kids. |
Yay! I'm in the majority for once (although it may be short-lived). I'm 34. :)

Hi PALux, You are still the oldest. I'll turn 63 on Friday.

44 turning to 45 in Sept.

51 and commuting to work so many years I can't remember the time I started. The best part I enjoy commuting over just going out for a ride.

Looks like I'm the old man at 65.
