Yo yourself dumba**!

That's what a pedestrian said to me today as he jaywalked in my path.
He was looking down at his ipod (mistake #1) and jaywalking, crossing the street in the middle (mistake #2) with me coming at him (mistake #3) and I let off a quick "Yo!" to catch his attention.
So I did my best to keep my messenger poker face, didn't blink, didn't turn, stolid, put my left hand up and gave him the finger as I went by.

Lately I belt-out a hearty "OUTTA MY WAY!". People are usually too scared to reply. I do say "Thank you!" afterwards.

A squirt from a water bottle to the crotch would do a good job of waking them up.

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. Barely missed him and scared the crap out of him. I rode past him and said "look both ways, dude". MFer came at me and tried to kick my back tire. He looked pretty drunk though and he wasn't moving so well. The attempt actually almost made him fall. I just kept riding. What an a$$, he's lucky I wasn't driving a car.

Pass behind them, it will be harder for them to kick or push you. and easier for you to push out of your way

I did it once when I had an obnoxtious Black SUV that was following me and kept honking, I gracefully lifted my right arm and flicked them off. I found out later that week that that was my aunt and youger cousins... ooops

I always assume that the person honking at me is someone I know. That way I don't get embarassed later at work because I flipped off my boss or something.
