Dinotte Ultra helmet mount?

Does anyone here have their Dinotte Ultra 3W or 5W mounted to their helmet? I'd like to replace the puny Cateye EL-400 with my Dinotte 5W as the flashing front light. Where do you hang the 4AA battery pack so it doesn't kill your neck?

I have the Dinottes. See my review here:

https://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=243800

The 3W version comes with a long cable which allows you to put the battery pack in a pocket or camelback, which seems to be the favorite way of using this lamp. It also has a narrower beam which is more appropriate for a helmet lamp.

However even if you are using the 5w version with the short cable, the battery pack is *incredibly* light (just 4 AA batteries and a minimal amount of plastic). It can just fix right behind or alongside the light and I doubt you would feel it unless you are riding for 8hrs or more.

Ok for now I've decided to keep the battery pack on the back of the helmet for a little longer. I'll see how well I tolerate the added weight. While I like the Dinotte helmet mount it's just a bit too bulky in my opinion. I have a Twofish Cyclopblock that's just sitting around at the moment and it fits the Dinotte beautifully. So I looped one strap through a vent in my helmet and fastened it down. The only two issues I see with it are that it's blocking a couple of the notches on top of the light which I'm assuming act as heatsinks. Hopefully it won't overheat the light. Also the Dinotte mount allows you much more flexibility in terms of tilting the light up or down vs. the Twofish holder. But it also raises the light another inch or so over the Twofish mounting method if that's important to you.

I tried the battery pack on the helmet with my 5w Ultra, and personally found the weight to be annoying. So I went out and bought the 3w w/ the longer cord, and put the 5w back on my bars. I'm very happy with this setup.
