This is way cool. The parts where there is no road are on a bike trail.

Ok, so it was the shortest commute ever. But I'll be impressed if anyone can name the start and finish points.

Heres' how I get to school.

The Hybrid view is cool cause it's a satilite image overlayed with the street maps. I used to to take the route directly from my house, bright red roof stand's out from space, to where the bike rack infront of my school is.

I know! I know!! One is "home" and the other "work" (sorry - I could not resist that). I was at a wedding very near here in ealy July. I want to guess that the north point is the Santa Monica Mountains interpretive center that the BLM has dug into the hillside, but I don't think I am quite far enough west for that. Was I a least close? This looks like a great area for riding. Thanks, Ex.

The north end is around the 700 block of N Via Colinas, but since there are some businesses in that complex, according to Google Maps, I don't know if that is home, rental, hotel, or business.

What was the asking price? By the way, congrats! You're not likely to get closer than that. Let's see if anyone can figure out what's at the other end. In all fairness, if they can figure out what was there, that will suffice. There's a hint in there somewhere.

No such mapping exists for Australia, but my new commute is considerably longer.

See post #44 for my guess on the other end. The property at 631 was offered at $431,500 back in January according to google cache. Google maps give the satellite view of Oz but not the street map.
