Score two!
Sunday must have been the day for good deeds. After changing a tire in the morning for a woman, a guy and his kid flagged me down on my way home. It seems he had run out of gas and no-one would even stop to let him use a phone. Not having a phone myself (yeah, I'm behind the times!) I rode up to where he worked and let them know what happened. My we're handy when we don't get run over!

Hehe, well done! I sometime get strange looks when I offer to help apparently stranded drivers. Go figure.

Good job, FLBandit. I bet the motorists we help treat cyclists better in the future.

That is my thoughts too. Helping them out gives us a better impression. Makes them think more of us instead of less.... although sometimes it is annoying when you need to get to work on time ;0) Plus because of all my safety stuff I think people think I am a cop or "safety" guy...(shell answer man). They seem to ask me for directions even though I don't live in the area. Sometimes I can help other times I am just as clueless.
