Attention all HHCMF'ers!
The HHCMF needs a slogan. Here are some suggestions, but feel free to add your own:
1) Ride to slack, slack to ...whatever.
2) Ride to work, work to pay the bills.
3) Feel my thigh!
4) Gimme space a$$h0le!
5) Wheeeee!!!
The best will be picked, put in a poll, voted on, votes counted, re-counted, lost, found, found invalid, re-voted, hanging chads discarded and then G.W. Bush will win.

What does HHCMF stand for?
Never mind, I just read oboeguy's sig . I'm a little slow sometimes.
How about: Ride to work, slack at work, ride home.
Ooooh or a line from Robin Hood:
We're Men. We're Men in Tights.

OK guys, and by guys, I mean men, I seriously hope the HHCMF club isn't a fargin sausage rally cuz if it is, I want out. We gotta have some women commuters in the club so boasting about hairy legs and crotch bulges probably won't appeal to them. Let's keep in mind that the HHCMF's admittance requirements are very low as to be almost non-existent and that we'll accept anyone commuting on anything as long as it's powered only by ourselves. That means if you push your car to work and back, you're in the HHCMF, but if you drive it, you're not.
BTW Eggplant Jeff, nice one about riding, slacking at work and riding some more.

Hehe, thanks.
What about if your commute to work is downhill, and you get in your car and steer, but don't start the engine? Just give it a little push to get it going? Does that count?

OK,
How often do I have to commute without an engine before I can join?
I do walk to work occasionally, and I have been working on a commuter bike... However, I am a fair weather commuter at this point, and won't (yet) commute in poor weather. I also have schedules that are unfriendly to human powered commuting a few days per week (classes scheduled too close to working hours).
If I can join the club by commuting, with human power alone, at least once per week when weather allows, I think it will motivate me to join. Have I crossed the line of too many exceptions to be a true HHCMF'er? If so, I may create an auxilliary group for Aspiring HHCMF'ers... The AHHCMF'ers!

Well, as jyossarian said...
So sure, you can join, unless you'd rather form the AHHCMF .
BTW: This is an awesome club. I admitted myself like an hour ago and already I'm inviting new members .

I'm torn between Slvoid's suggestion which is typical NY (and would need to go on a t-shirt backwards so cagers can read it in their rear view mirrors and get the f*(k out the way) and Eggplant's slacker suggestion. As for joining, if you're happy and healthy and commuting under your own power, fack it, u can join. Just don't forget to pay your dues.

I always wanted to put this on a t-shirt for commuting and touring. or on a big reflective sign.

I think my first suggestion might've been a little rude.
How about,
