Does anyone use tires like Specialized Mt. Baldy Pro tires on the road? It says they're semi-slicks, but it's hard to tell if the amount of tread they have will be a problem on the road. I saw them and was looking for smoother tires, but since these are 50 dollar tires and on sale for 16 bucks or so from Specialized, I thought I would ask if anyone had experience with them. Thanks

watch yourself, those are tubeless tires which will be useless without tubeless rims. and they are WAY too nice to subject to commuting IMHO.
are you running a tubless system? if so cheap tires may be hard to come by maybe this IS the ticket (but the website lists it as out of stock).
if your not running tubeless there are cheaper better (but probably heavier) options for commuting.
