New Bike

Just ordered Kona Dr. Dew for daily NYC commuting and weekend rides. Have a secure place to lock it up, just need to deal with toning it down a bit. Anyone recommend frame coverage? Inner tubes or tape. Just don't want to have something that is falling off right away. I kind of can't wait for it to get a little road worn so I don't care so much. Thanks for any tips.

Reflective tape. Lots and lots of it. Safety equipment stores have rolls of it in various colors and patterns at decent prices. I covered sides of all frame tubes. Another commuter completely covered his frame except for a couple of brand logos. Almost anything else that I can think of would make the bike harder to see; a bad thing.
