Man I was jealous of you guys today

Beautiful day in MD. I longed to be back on my bike. Especially as I was crawling around the parking lot known as the topside of the Washington DC beltway at 4mph.

Hope everyone loved their commute.

I won't rub it in. I'll just say it was freakin' awesome today.

Yep. The near-freezing slog home was awesome.

Because my job involves visits to my clients. When I go to the office I do a partial commute (I live 27 miles from my office). But on this day I had to go to a client in Reston VA, 68 miles from my house. Sorry I am not in that good of shape.

Neener neener. I rode my bike yesterday.

I've been practicing rubbing it in all week. A guy I work with had his bike locked-up in front of our building all last week. His key broke off in the lock on Monday. It was a heffer of a cable lock too. He finally found someone with bolt cutters to help free it on Friday.

Man, I just put my head down and rode so hard I shocked myself. Either I've dropped some weight, or that clunker junker commuter bike is really not doing me a lot of good when it comes to training on the bike! Whoa!

Eighty on Monday. I get off at 2:30 from work. That is going to be a ride-o-rama all freakin' afternoon. I can't wait!

I just got in from a 3 hour ride. It was the first beautifull Saturday of the year, mid 50's, sunny, perfect day. Was also the first day since last fall I took the panniers and battery off and holly blistering asphalt batman......

I guess those 5000 km over the winter helped

Just got to work today. Wind in my hair for the first time this year. No hat under my helmet this afternoon. I guess I can't rub it it too much. Not many people would be jealous of my working on Saturday.

Yea I hear that. I have a morning appointment in Rockville monday. I think I will take the bike down afterwards and do a quick ride down beach drive and backup the Capital Crescent trail.

Got in a good 35 miles today. That makes up for yesterday.
