Charlotte, NC, USA Commuters
 

I've been commuting on and off in the Charlotte area for about 6 months. So I've got my routine down pretty well and found out today that my office is moving from North Charlotte (Statesville Ave) down to Arrowood Rd in South Charlotte.

So my question is, does anyone have any experience riding in this area? Does anyone routinely ride NC 49? Are there any alternative routes? FWIW I'm coming from Gastonia.
