Which Bike?
 

I have an opportunity to buy either a Specialized Cruz Crossroads or a Trek 820 (no suspension). Both are used and are from the mid-late 90's and appear to be in good condition. Which would be the best bike for commuting and general use? I live in an area that has a fair amount of hills. Is one of these bikes substantially heavier than the other? Thanks!:)
