1st time going all the way!

16 miles one way in 70 minutes! I've been doing a mixed mode with the bus part of the way. That takes about 80 minutes so I may only do that in bad weather from now on...

I can't believe how fast it was.

Is it time to go home yet???

Congradts! How many days a week are you planning on doing this? Full time, part time, etc

Thanks! I've sort of a newbie but I've been doing 25 mile trips on the weekends for a while now so I don't expect much in the way of soreness. (fingers crossed.) There are a few more hills on the way to work though so ...

I did the mixed mode deal a couple of times a week last October and November. Then it got cold and I slacked off to maybe 2 times a month. I started back up in late March a couple of times a week. My goal is three times a week. So I guess that makes me a full-time part-timer if I meet my goal??

I ride a folder - an '05 Dahon Speed TR. I saw a Dahon Helios XL while on a business trip in Chicago last year and thought it was so cool I just had to have a folding bike. I researched a very little and bought the Speed TR last October. I just ordered a new Dahon Mu SL a couple days ago. I like the look I get when I catch a roadie napping and ride up along side on my folder. I'm hoping that with the Mu SL and I can hang with them a little longer after they wake up.
