i like the idea of a minipump with a foot and a hose, and it claims to pump to 160 (skeptical of that)....

i would like to get up to 105-110 or so on my 32c cx burroughs without relying on co2 anymore.

anybody have any experience with the minimorph, or any other similarly equipped smallish pump?

I have a "road-morph" that looks exactly like that one in the link. It's fine. I don't have a guage, so I couldn't tell you exactly how high I can pump them, but I don't think I get them over 100. The pump is very hard to use once the tires are very firm.

I will try to find a gauge or something to check...

OK, I checked with my room mate's pump... My tires were at around 90 but I hadn't pumped them since yesterday. I was able to get it to 100 and getting it past that wouldn't be too bad.

They make a version with an in-line gauge, which is really nice to have. I thought that's the one I was getting but I ordered the wrong one.

90 would be ok i suppose.

i'm not really fussy, but i do hate when i get a flat 5 miles into my 15 mile commute and i have to ride mushy tires the rest of the way in.

Yeah you can definitely get it high enough that you can be OK if you flat and replace your tube or whatever.

I have a road morph http://www.rei.com/product/4684369.htm which is 12.7 inch instead of the mini 10.4 inch it has a gauge I can to 120 psi with it.

Just be aware - I have a "road morph" but it does not have an gauge...apparently there are two kinds. But I was foolish enough to think I was getting such a great deal on the gauge-one it turns out it was the normal one...

I have a road morph with a gauge and it rocks. The mini morph is intriguing; if my pump were a couple inches shorter I could actually use full sized bottles in my back cage.

I have the mountain morph. Use it on my commuting bike (700 x 38c) and mountain bike. It gets up to 100 easily. You should have no problem getting up to 110.

Got a Mountain Morph, pumps up to 140 psi. Hear a lot of people with sticky gauges, including myself.

I just received my road morph w/ inline gauge the other day and haven't used it yet. Perhaps I'll let the air out of one tire and test it out. I can always use my floor pump if I can't reach 110. I love the mounting bracket for it, much better than a velcro strap IMO.

edit -Just tried it out, I was able to get to 110 with no problem. I double checked it with the gauge on my floor pump & it was pretty accurate. The last 10 or 20 pumps did give my arm a nice workout though. :p

My road morph gets up to 120 no problem...it takes a while, as each successive pump gets you a little less on the guage...but I don't have to kill my arm doing it, I just have to keep going and be a little patient. 100 happens pretty quickly, it's those last 20 where diminishing returns start setting in.

I'm curious how the mini-morph compares, performance wise. I'm a fairly short guy, and ride a compact frame. While I could mount the pump to my frame, I don't, because there's no place on there that actually works particularly well without getting in the way of something else. So, I carry it in a bag, but that can be a tight fit. A mini-morph at 10" could allow me to frame mount, but if the performance isn't on par, it may not be worth it.

Does the mini-morph have an in-line guage? My road morph does, and I'm rather fond of that.

Any variety of Morph pump with a gauge beats any other pump I've used. A-plus design.
I get my tires up to 110-115 with no issues.

I've got a road morph and love it...Its actually my primary pump now that my floor pump broke
