cartoons for newsletter

Some of you have posted links to really great political cartoons about gas prices and bike commuting and we've included them in past newsletters. Thanks for the links.

Has anyone come across any new ones lately? Or any good ones that are not necessarily about bike commuting or gas prices, but bike related? Thanks.

Just be sure you don't violate any copyrights. Some syndicates can get nasty about this.

We always include all the legal stuff.

OK, I have done more than a few newsletters and book writing. You have to give proper credit and sometimes pay a use fee.

This is a political cartoon site I frequent. It's about the best I've found. It also includes cartoons from other countries. It's very enlightening to see how the rest of the world feels about the USA.

Have fun and good luck with your newsletter. I'll try to get an old copy off your website. I'm interested to see it.

Another thought...if you have a large group, how about requesting cartoon submittals from members?

It's a crap shoot, but if you find a good artist, you're in business!

Calvin and Hobbes used to run some good pro-cycling strips. Problem is, cycling issues were not a major part of the plot in that cartoon, so finding those strips can take some effort.
