Commuting is fun

Parentheses once again and testing my Point & Speak software) cities

Commuting his son guys just try to. I mean was to get the hang of it you'll never want to go back to driving in a cage.

Commuting by bicycle hits you in shape. I haven't given such good shape ever before.

Now going to speak as if I'm being very careful about what I'm going to say.

He did to see all the sites Wednesday by bicycle and trade. I said, you get to see all the sites commuting by bicycle. Excuse me Mr. Point & Speak, are you having problems understanding me does? Dog!

Back to the drawing board :-) Babyface mean face embarrassed face irritating face in-your-face whenever never mind

It seems my Point & Speak has really gotten the hang of it now, that is I gotten the hang of using it. Only, it doesn't seem to work as well on bike forms, as it does on Microsoft Word.

It really is quite amazing how fast it can transcribe stuff that would normally take me a long time to type. Anyway, you can see a much better today than I was last night!

Seriously, (I'm not using it at the moment,) that Point & Speak software is actually learning my voice better the more I use it. Also, I'm getting more familiar with it.

My wife got it for me for BikeForums, e-mail and instant messaging, but I've found a great use in transcribing audio messages.

I think it's more fun when I can't understand what it wrote...

;)

It looks like you have taught your computer "pidgeon English".

Good it works, yes I think.

Did Yoda program that software for ya, Pete?

fubar5 01-31-03 08:38 PM

Commuting is fun....I know that is beside the point and all, but....

Ktulu 02-03-03 10:42 PM

Hey, thats pretty cool. Where can I pick some of it up?

Pete Clark 02-07-03 09:15 AM

I don't know, my wife paid about $60 for it somewhere...it actually learns more about your voice the more you use it. There is also something called, "Naturally Speaking." I suppose as time goes on, the software programs that interperet speech will get smarter and smarter.

AlphaGeek 02-07-03 11:42 AM

It's Dragon Naturally Speaking, usually packaged with WordPerfect by Corel Software. As you can see from Pete's posts, it has not completely arrived yet. ;-)

An English friend of mine got one of those a couple of years ago. He ditched it because it kept muddling up his Liverpuddlian accent.

Let me repeat that back to you, using my point and speak software:

"an English friend of mine got one of those a couple of years ago. He pitched it because it kept modeling up his liver partly in accent."

:D

(My mother always told me that it was rude to, "point and speak.")

Maybe I'll e-mail my friend this thread after reading that.
