One cool thing about bike commuting in LA. . .

Ok, I've been on record complaining about commuting in LA so I feel I have to share a few positives. Today on my commute home, I saw the guy that play's Hurley from Lost. Also by bf got a wave from Jamie Lee Curtis the other day and Arnold drove past us in a monstrous SUV while we were riding around the neighborhood. Any other LA commuters have celeb sightings ot report?

I almost ran over Gabriel Reece(She jumped on the bike lane w/out looking) on Main St.. Michael Keaton petted and hanged around w/ my dog while I was in the bank. The Baywatch crew when they used to film in the parking lot across from where I lived. The list goes on but hey, this is Tinseltown so what can I say

I saw the three Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu one morning along the boardwalk (about the time they were filming Charlies Angels two).

Of course, it's not about whether I saw them, it's about whether they saw me

Last Thursday I went to see Superman at Century City.

I saw Ashton Kuthcer and his mom, I mean, Demi Moore.

I love going to Century CIty, I saw ALOT of actors there because it's literally next to Fox Studios.

Looks like I'm going to have to spend more time riding thru Venice and Century City!! I've only been out here for a few years so I'm still totally star struck! I was in Whole Foods on 22nd and Wilshire and bumped into Donald Sutherland and played with teacup pugs at a pet shop on 20th and wilshire with Kate Beckinsale the week her 2nd Underwold movie came out!

While movie celebs are ok, I met Nelson Vails on the bike path and got to trade a pull with him.

Being from SaMo I have seen/known numerous celebrities.
Not sure whether I have seen any while cycling or not.

According to all the things I've read about him, he's a cycling freak just like the rest of us.

Robin Williams lives in San Francisco real close to the Golden Gate Bridge and he is a bike nut too. I understand he has several race rigs and rare bikes, but I don't think he commutes by bike

Umm... I saw Rory McGrath on a bike in Cambridge the other day. And he was topless. It was a 3-speed with big wicker basket.
