Cargo rack ideas for a lwb recumbent?

I have spent my first two days on my new bent, and aside from the wobbles, which are getting better, I have a problem deciding how to mount a cargo rack above the rear wheel. The configuration makes it a little difficult because of the mesh seat back, without a mount except for the frame way down by the front of the wheel. I can't wear a backpack because it's a bent, and I can't mount my gear on the handlebars because I still have the wobbles. Any ideas? or should I go to the bent forum?

Why don't you tell us what bike you're riding?

Certainly someone on these forums might be able to offer some advice.

Also, have you checked the Bentrideronline website?

Which 'bent is it? Stratus, Vanguard, Canto...?? Either way, the usual method is to put the rack in the eyelets as normal, then fab (fancy word for cut to length and drill holes in) some 1/8 x 1" aluminum struts. These meet the rack horizontal mounts at the top, and connect to the frame with P clips (or in the case of Burley, just buy the rack adapter).
If it's an EZ type, you can just sling the backpack over the back of the seat.

Thanks for the advice. My ride is an Actionbent Manta Ray, kinda like a stretched cruiser. I'll bug you guys again if I have any more problems.
