Thanks to Jon R!
Jon R,
Thanks for your advice on tire pressure: I've not had a flat in two weeks now! The tire gage was a good investment as now I've no problems with flats as I used to. Such a simple fix, and I didn't think of it.. Hahaha..
But thanks, it's made life a little smoother for me!
Of course, now that I've posted this, I'll get a flat on the way home..watch.!

I can't say Jon has ever helped me with tire pressure, but he is a great guy none the less. Jon enbodies the heart and soul of a true cyclist. (Jon, I think that was poetic)
One thing I have to say about this forum, is that there is someone with an answer to any question...from trivial to life saving. Believe me, I have had more than one problem solved by the great people that lurk here on the Forum.

Well said, Bill and Steele-Bike! You have also reminded me of something I meant to post last week. I hereby nominate JonR Poet Laureate of the Commuting Forum.
JonR, I think it is safe to say you are an inspiration to all of us.

You guys--gosh, I'm going to have to ask you to restrain yourselves! My head's not going to fit in that weirdo Specialized helmet anymore at this rate.
Anyway, I hereby nominate Orguasch's little 4-year-old Miguel for Poet Laureate. He wouldn't have to write anything: just be there.
