Any experience with suspension hubs?
 

Just wondering if anyone has used Pantour suspension hubs. Did you feel the improvement to comfort was worth the money? Would a carbon fork be a better investment?

What is your current setup ?
I wonder at the long term durability of yet another moving part. There really is no need for it on a commuter, and there are plenty of ways of improving your ride.
The easiest way to make a bike ride more comfortably is to fit wider slick tyres. As long as the pressure is high, they wont be less efficient. At commuting speeds, you dont need racing rubber.
If you have a standard cromoly steel fork, it is probably overbuilt, heavy and unyeilding, compared to a custom built steel fork made form Reynolds 531 steel. You can have steel forks built to give any tyre clearance you want.
Cheaper carbon forks are fairly comparable to good steel forks in weight, ride and cost, but are only available in racing clearance. High quality carbon forks are a lot lighter, and will absorb a lot of road buzz.

One q about the suspension hubs. If you fit them to a set of standard road racing forks, will the interfere with the brake caliper when they bounce. I dont see any way that the movement of the hub can be accomodated?
