Tubular Webbing for Kryptonite Lock

I've got a Kryptonite New York Fuggetaboutit (the one with hexagonal links) lock that's webbing is shredded. To get new stuff from Kryptonite I have to produce the sales reciept which I don't have. Does anyone know where to get 2 1/2 inch tubular webbing? I've been able to find 2" and 3". Will the 2" work?

Check with electrical and electronics supply houses for something like this or this.

I've used the flexible webbing (not for bike projects) and it is great.

My friend had the same problem with her lock. She bought very simliar material from an outdoor fabric supply store. She cut the material to size then using nylon thread, sewed it into a tube on her sewing machine. Took her all of 5 minutes and cost less then $3.00 for her efforts.
