Mmmmm... Horizontal dropout and rack/fender eyelet goodness. Obviously doesn't have the kind of clearances of the Cross Check or a disc brake option, but with horizontal dropouts it's singlespeed/fixed internal gear hub friendly.

Surly also unveiled a new model with an integrated Xtracycle. Cool stuff.

Now this frame, with an integrated Xtracycle, and I'm sold. I love this thing. Except, that is, for the stoopid stem, and the coaster brake. But with gears, proper brakes, a stretched back end, a bigger Brooks, and a quill stem, I'd buy it. Probably.

Coaster brake? Are you sure its not a fixed gear?

It's either fixed or a singlespeed freewheel, but it's definitely not a coaster brake. Given the fact that the bike has a front brake but no rear brake, it's probably fixed.

There is no brake arm for a coaster on the rear.
