Pop Quiz, Hotshot!

You're getting on an elevator w/ your bike as your neighbor gets off. She holds the call button long enough to tell you about another neighbor that spent $7,000 on a custom titanium bike. She concludes by saying, "For that much money, you could get something with four wheels to get you around the city!"

OK Hotshot, as the door closes, what do you say?

I went with, "For that much money, she got two wheels that gets her around the city faster!

*Hold the *** **** door open.*

What idiot would waste $7,000 on a car in this city? That would be so sad, and such a waste. You didn't make that mistake did you? Or did you mean just the parking fees? I'd rather be healthy and happy.
Did you need me to help you pick out a good bike, so you can be happy too? I'd be glad to help a good neighbor like you. We all waste money once in a while, it's OK that's how we learn. Don't be embarrassed I've made bad decisions too, it happens.

I won't tell the neighbors how !@#$%^&* stupid you are to use a car around here. I just want to help. You're not disabled are you? Can you ride a bike?

* big insincere grin*

I'm sure most would prefer a $7000 steel cage, but I'm certain he loves his two wheels more.
