5 days a week in summer. 4 days in winter.
It really is not that bad. 28 miles each way. I halve the distance one way by using a bus. Hopefully, next summer I can ride the entire thing round trip. Hence my new road bike build. The distance is another reason I am not thrilled to ride in snow or ice. Bad weather can make that commute horrible. Occasionally it is a nice challenge. Good luck on the commute! It was amusing walking the 1 mile from the gym to my house. Strangely enough, the weather is much more enjoyable while walking. No worries trying to keep my bike upright or the car straight. Plus my sidewalk is offset from the street. The joys of walking! I wonder if they have a walking forum? :p j/k I could just purchase a decent snowbike. Cyccommute's post of his winter bike in the winter forum almost has inspired me....almost :p |

Yeah, things look a lot better than after the last storm... then again, we got almost 8" more snow(here right at the edge of Golden) in the same amount of time last week. |
