That's pretty cool.

All seriousness aside, does the pointy nose make the bike more aero?

Hey man, that is very creative work there, and it is kinda...er..cool, but it reminds me of that movie "the manitou". Remember that? You know, where that monster is growing out of that woman's back?

No, to be truly more aero, you would need one of those nekkid ladies like on the front of a ship (with big tatas).

Oh, I have one of those, but it is met with skepticism by wives/girlfriends.
And the mods would likely remove pics from the BF!

Dr.D finished that bike for me. When it is all built up I will post a pic. The folks in the classic & vintage forum had a bit of a different reaction....

Hey, I'm starting to like this. That's a pretty big stearing tube isn't? Got to be at least a 60 cm frame. maybe bigger. No way could you fit one on a midget bike. Maybe this will end the midget bike tyrrany once and for all. It's the first sign of hope I've seen in a long time. What a great way to start off the new year.

Funny you mention the frame size as I am moving up a cm or two with this bike. Awhile ago I had been given some inccorect fit advice from a local shop and had been riding a 56cm 1977 Trek. While a great bike, when I move to a 58 cm 1973 Schwinn World Voyageur I felt instantaly more comfortable. The bike in the picture is a 60cm 1981 Trek 710. I will be running moustache bars and neede to be able to get them as high if not a bit hogher than the saddle. On the 56cm Trek the the Nitto Technomoc stem was at the max insertion line and it is a long stem. The standover on the 60 cm is ok but the top tube is just about 58 cm, same as my other bike. Viva large frames!!

I hope who ever rides that bike does not run into a pedestrian. That would be a serious nose poke!...

p.s. I would hate to clean it up after a ride in sludge. So many nooks and crannies for dirt to accumulate...

But with 7-8 coats of top quality clear (PPG 2042), just hose it off like the rest of the bike!
