Would this be a really bad place to change clothes?
My first grade classroom before school.
I can lock the door. Cover the windows. Put a "stay out" sign in the window. Stand behind a bookcase. But it is concievable that one of the campus supervisers could use their key and open the door. And it's possible that they might have a kid or a parent with them. That has never happened before school, however, but it could.
All winter, I've just been putting my street clothes on over my bike gear. For the most part, I haven't done anything in my classroom that a person couldn't do in any other public place. But lately it's been a little warmer, and I've been a little sweatier. Today it would have been nice to not be wearing bike shorts all day.
I'm concerned about the "ick" factor should anyone find out that I do that. What would you think (as a parent, not a cyclist) if you knew your kids teacher changed his clothes in the classroom before school?

No way in hell I'd do it.. They seem pretty easy on the "sex offender" trigger lately. I could just see this getting blown way out of proportion.

The never-nudes will certainly be offended!

Ladies faculty bathroom - as long as you wear spandex, you have plausible homobility working for you.

I would have no problem with it once I knew what was up, but if I walked in and your weiner was hanging out you would have a lot of explaining to do.

Is there a gym bathroom with showers or anything. When I was in school, high school of course, I rode my bike everyday and showered in the gym locker rooms. If I remember correctly, my elementary school gym even had a shower locker room.

Hi All-
If the door pushes in, use a Wedge-It device and nobody will be pushing the door open. Firefighters hang one or two of them from their turnout gear and they use them to jam doors open so they won't slam on firehose they're trying to drag around inside a building.
Of course, changing in the faculty bathroom is the politically-correct and conservative route to take. If you arrive at the school a couple of hours before the students, you probably don't stand too much of a risk while changing into your streetclothes.

Two H's!!! TWO!!!!!
Barricade the doors first.
Seriously, I wouldn't have a second of doubt about it. I'd just do it. Get one of those wedges if you're really nervous.
Just be ready to explain to kids what it is you do behind those closed doors every morning. Tell 'em you're making up their tests or something.

Is this really a serious concern?
Hang a sign on the door, lock the door, and change your clothes.
If you are really concerned then why don't you speak with the director of the school and them him/her what you plan to do and where you could safely do it?

Or ask the principal...but I'd use the restroom. Something about having a sink close by...

+1 check with the principal.
I assume you cannot change in a more sensible location, as others have suggested?
Then get a door jam as suggested as well, and make it abundantly clear that people shouldn't enter.
As long as the authorities know what you're up to, that minimises any chance of the no-nude brigade getting all antsy.
If the prinicapal/authorities turn out to be anti-bike and don't want to accomodate your or listen to your concerns, lace their coffee with laxatives.

Cycle Year Round
You could move to North Shore area of Oahu, Hawaii. At least one teacher there wears the clothes he bikes in for class - T-shirt, baggie shorts, tennis shoes. Parks his dirty mountain bike in the classroom too.
