Here you go:

You'll have to pay close attention to see the idiots arm come out of his car to flip me off. It happens between second 8 & 12. Also there is no audio, not that you would hear what he said anyway.

Well, I thought the original poster handled the situation pretty well. I mean, he could've given the bird and all that, but I think his response was a good one. It shut up that lady.

While on my way to my exam tonight someone yelled, "Get off the road, asian!" Too bad the ignorant fool doesn't know that since the speed limit on campus is 25mph, I'm pretty much going as fast as a car can.

I thought it was funny he called me Asian instead of something more derogatory and ever more funny that the whole of the bike lane was occupied by parked cars.

Too bad campus police follow the policy of letting cars do whatever they want past 4:30 (besides drive fast) because it really bugs me to not have my own lane in which I can race cars.

BTW, when people drive by me yelling and swearing, I usually catch up to them at a red and wave like an idiot (if just wearing my glasses) or stare at them (if wearing contacts/Oakleys, since you can't see my eyes past the tint).

I feel it is rather unnerving to cuss somebody out and have them wave like an idiot at you, or just stare at you and you can't really see them. Better than fueling the fire by firing back.

Not that what the person said was right, racism is racism, no matter how you look at it, but it sounds like the person was being politically correct in his or her racism. I think that is worse then just coming out & using the derogatory slang language. Question is why? if you're going to be a racist or use racial slurs why not just come out, not beat around the bush & use the derogatory language? I don't think I need to post the offensive derogatory racial language that has been used against people of Asian decent, etc. I think we all know or have heard what they are.

I am really glad the route for my commute (all 16 miles of it) minus the first .5 mile and last mile is a city bike path along a creek and then river away from ''cagers'' and "JAMS"... BUT... it's full of bike snobs that call me ''on your left'' or ''on your right''. Pick your poison I guess.
