Papal Rule Number 9
 

Now, I don't typically agree with the pope or catholicism, but I do like this and wish is was more common!

9. On the road, protect the more vulnerable party.

so where is "Thou shalt use thy blinker" and "Thou shalt not drive slow in the left lane"

Or "Thou shalt not be a ******". That's my favourite commandment.

Thou shall not honk at cyclists!

I was on the bikepath today and crossed a road. A woman turning left onto that road honked at me, because she had to wait a moment. She wasn't going to wait, but I held out my hand in a stop fashion (I figure that's my civic duty) and she did, albeit reluctantly.

Thou shalt not bike in the wrong direction then look at me like I'm an idiot, you idiot.

Happened to me a couple weeks ago - still can't get over it. Sorry.
