Honjo Fenders with disc brakes?

Can this be done? I've never seen a set in person, but I know some of you have. I've been using SKS fenders, and the wire stays must obviously be bent around the brake assembly. Not a big deal.

Looking at the images of the Honjos the single stays appear to sit very low on the bike, and nearly parallel with the ground. Does it sit low enough to not be a factor? If not, can the stays be altered? They look more...substantial...than the wire stays on the SKS or the Planet Bike fenders.

Any thoughts/firsthand knowledge is appreciated.

It also appears, reading the instructions, that the eyelets on your bike have to be drilled out so they're no longer threaded?

If that's the case, then I can't use these...those same eyelets also hold my rack.

Cycles Tournesol has built at least one bike with that combination, their red 700c "Leger Commuteur".

Thanks for the links, guys. That Tournesol is a bit vague about how it's done...but that was a very trick cable routing through the fork!
