Sure, I've commuted on a road bike @ 235 lbs. With my recent diet and extra exercise I'm almost ready to be an alumni

Starting this week. 28 miles each way (pretty flat though) I'm at 235 with 195 in my sights.

started commuting at 250, now I'm down to 182. I'm not saying the commuting was the only reason for the 68lb loss, but It sure has been fun

Started at 265 now up to 275. I've been at this for a month and I've gained 10 pounds, I don't get it.

About ten months into it I'm down 35 lbs (without dieting) -- still have a long way to go but I've almost doubled my cruising speed and logged nearly 2k miles. The weight loss plateaued for a while as I kept building muscle and losing fat simultaneously, I'm now back to losing about a pound a week or two.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.

I was about 210 ... but I'm now 184. Commuting and cutting out my daily ice cream/candy/cookie habit has made me a reformed Clyde.

Last I weighed myself, I was around 210 or so. 6'1".
I don't think I'll leave the club, but I don't really think of myself as "heavy," so I've never posted in the Clyde forum...
I'll probably just end up trading fat for muscle.
