Cleaning the seat.

I've got a Schwinn seat withthe "o" middle and the top is lycra (I think) on it. I'm wondering what is the best method and product to clean the seat? It is starting marinate quite well from the hot temps.

Are car upholsterly products ok to clean it?

It might be a bad idea, but have you considered just soaking it in some water? Assuming there's no leather it shouldn't really hurt the fabric right? Spot cleaning really isn't going to do anything for the smell...

Then again, there's likely some problem that I'm overlooking.
