After 6 years, it might have gone bad. You don't want to give your bike botulism, do you?

You could use it to lube cable housing, it is the best way to make your shifting smoother, and if it ruins your housing to feed it rotten lube, it doesn't cost much to replace

Thanks. Glad I have so far not used it on the chain.

I recently bought the White Lightning Epic Ride lube. It spilled (almost pouring) everywhere when applying to the chain, big waste. I wonder why the makers don't include a straw like TriFlow, which is one of the best features about it.

So, to sum this thread up.......use something, it's probably better than nothing.

I was joking. I highly doubt there's anything wrong with 6-year old triflow. And I don't think bikes are affected by the botulism toxin.

And yes, the straw is an indispensable feature. You could always pour your White Lightning into the triflow bottle. If you don't want the triflow, you could dump it, or pour it temporarily into a cup and then into the White Lightning bottle.

Another great tip I found, get an empty needle-tip vape-juice bottle and put thin chain lube in it. The short metal tip is even better than the triflow straw for most applications, except you know, that one pivot way in the back of your RD or something.
