My Schwinn SS

Heres my Schwinn SS, More than likely its going to be my commuter, not REAL sure yet, but maybe, I just had the barcons installed, had to settle for used but thats OK with me What do you guys here at the commuters forum think?

I love barcons. You have room to mount fenders, a rack, and a blinky and you'll be set to go.

Thanks The other bike is a Ross Apollo 5 Speed, it was Ross's entry in the "Muscle bike" era, I got it on trade, its almost mint, never ridden, ever!

That Ross Apollo is sweet. I know it wouldn't be "correct", but I'd swap that shifter for one of the top tube console units from an ealier model for some extra "Muscle".

I like the Schwinn, but that Apollo is truly one of a kind. Its like a mutant Schwinn Stingray.

I am with robtown. The Super Sport will be a fine commuter with the addition of some fenders and racks. You are fortunate to own a classic and durable machine.

I cant make it out but it should have forged drops? I think that feature was halted in 72? Mine is a 73 and doesnt have forged still cool though
